Super Why is an animated TV series that is perfect for little ones and a great show for all the family to settle down to watch for family time. The TV series began airing in 2007 and it has continued ever since from creator Angela Santomero and airs on PBS Kids.
What’s It All About?
Super Why is a great way to get kids involved in books and reading and focuses on Whyatt, who along with his friends go about solving problems as they look into stories and try to solve puzzles. The music is very catchy and friends include Red, Princess P and Alpha Pig.
What’s Been Happening?
Season 1 episode 1 of Super Why came onto our screens on September 3 2007 and viewers saw Jill knocking down Pigs tower and of course Pig wants her to stop doing it.
Throughout the season children have been kept entertained by Red stealing peppers from Peter Piper and Hansel and Gretel being helped out by the Super Readers, Humpty Dumpty being helped, Princess Pea’s cat getting stuck up a tree and rescued and more.
The season reached an end in February 2011 with Red meeting Mother Goose in the 65th episode.
The latest season to air at the time of writing is season 3 and the first episode aired on August 17 2015 with the title of The Story of the Super Readers. The series concluded on September 24 2015 with an episode entitled The Mixed Up Story.
So is there going to be a season 4 and if so when?

What Are The Top 3 Outstanding Episodes?
There have been many great episodes of Super Why but there are some that have stood out among the others.
Season 1 episode 2 was among the best when children learned the lesson of not taking things from others without asking along with learning to be considerate to others thanks to the help of Little Red Riding Hood.
Season 1 episode 11 was among the best when Red Riding Hood wanted to play with Little Boy Blue and children learned a lesson about friendship and sharing.
Season 1 episode 29 taught children how to make the right choices with the help of Whyatt and the Super Readers.
