It looks like Judy Greer has found her next television gig at Fox in their upcoming human resources themed comedy, which is yet to conform a name. Following two seasons on ‘Married’ over at FX, she is ready to switch to Fox in the untitled comedy pilot from writer Laura Steinel (Red Oaks).
From what we know so far, the comedy will centre on Jane (Judy Greer), the head of human resources for a New Jersey based plastics moulding company. She is overworked and under-appreciated and when the new CEO starts making changes to the company that make Jane’s job more and more difficult, she finds herself caught between managing her incompetent HR department and handling her new boss!
The single camera comedy is just one of many offers that Greer has been given lately. She recently completed a guest spot on ‘Mom’ over at CBS and also on Showtime’s ‘Masters of Sex’. She also does voice acting on FX comedy show ‘Archer’. Some of her previous appearances include the likes of Ant-Man, Jurassic World, Mad Love and Miss Guided. Aside from this upcoming pilot, Greer also has a number of movie roles coming up including War for the Planet of the Apes.
Meanwhile, writer Laura Steinel who is penning the script for the pilot will also be serving as executive producer for the pilot. She is joined by producer Sue Naegle and director Jeff Schaffer.
