‘Game of Thrones’ Finale Will Set Record

Well of course it will set a ratings record, but everyone already knew that! The finale will set a record with length, which is always a plus when trying to tie up the often complicated world of Game of Thrones. The final two episodes will be titled ‘Battle of the Bastards’ and ‘The Winds of Winter’, which will clock in at 60 minutes and 69 minutes respectively. The Winds of Winter is particularly interesting, since it will not only be the longest episode, but also shares the same name as the sixth book in ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series.

The outcome of The Battle of the Bastards will would have been a great finale all on its own, but to have it being followed up with the longest episode in the series is just icing on the cake. Word has it that there could be an interesting plot development in the finale, including the introduction of a new character. Two characters up to this point have been brought back in the past couple of weeks, and that includes John Snow and The Hound. If the show keeps up with this trait then there will be a huge surprise for the finale!

HBO is being smart about their media concerning the show, and haven’t even released summaries. This won’t stop the conspiracy theorists from making spouting their own ideas, as the Lady Stoneheart reveal with Arya has fans frothing at the mouth. This is of course Game of Thrones, so expect a surprising death at some point with one of the main characters. One death is assured though, and that will be between Ramsay Bolton and John Snow.

Are you making space on your DVR for the Game of Thrones Finale? Who do you think will win between Snow and Ramsay?
